| "We returned from Costa Rica three weeks ago where we stayed at Costa Rica Villa II located in Dominical. Everything about this trip was absolutely fabulous. From start to finish it was nothing short of perfection. Even in the planning stages, Kara from Capricorne Villas was extremely helpful in suggesting places to stay en-route to our final destination, which included making hotel and airline reservations, airport pickup, etc. She guided us through the various activities we could participate in during our stay. But, even she could not fully prepare us for what lay ahead! The villa, Villa II, is simply divine. It was huge but completely warm, cozy and inviting. We felt “at home” the minute we arrived. The caretakers, Don Carlos and Anna were warm and friendly and went out of their way to help whenever they were called upon. We have traveled to Africa, Tahiti, Cabo San Lucas, and Europe to name a few, and never have we felt so completely at peace. We have decided that Capricorne Villas is the only way to travel. We can’t say enough about our spectacular vacation and we owe it in large part to Capricorne Villas! Thanks Capricorne Villas and we are already planning our next vacation!" |

| "Thank you Capricorne Villas for the wonderful concierge service we received through Kara for our trip to Puerto Vallarta. She helped set up some of our activities and even went searching for places we could take our kids to so they will have an enjoyable time as well. She helped set up our dolphin encounter at Sea Life Park Vallarta and we had a blast. The description of the activity does not do it justice. We spent more than hour looking, touching, and swimming with the dolphins. After the adventure we hung around and had fun zipping down the water slides and relaxing in the swimming pool with our little ones." |

"Our trip was fantastic. The house was even nicer than the pictures and Carlos and Anna were absolutely fantastic host/caretakers. We had a great time just spending the week lounging around, cooking in all three kitchen;) and Ethan (our 1 year old) loved watching the toucans that played in the trees.
We made a few trips to Hacienda Baru for hikes and canopy tours and a few trips to the beaches, but overall just enjoyed the R&R.
We enjoyed having the personal chef--Robert did a really nice (typical Costa Rican) meal for my parent's anniversary and Carlos bought them a giant cake. Raquel the masseuse was amazing (and we get massages all the time). I'd definately tell future guests that the massages are well worth it. The house even has a really nice "spa" room.
Ironically, one of the best restaurants we ate at was next door to the villa at Cuna d'Angel hotel. We ate at a few places in Dominical- Tortilla Flats was the most fun --and we made the 30-40 minute trek via car to restaurant Citrus. It was very good, but I'm not sure it was worth the drive. We really wanted to try The Chef's Table just up the road from CV II, but it's only open Sat, Sun and Mon for private dining.
To keep ourselves busy we tried surfing with Henry from Dominical Surf Adventures who also provided our airport transfers--he's a great teacher. And we took horses with Don Lulo's to the waterfalls. The falls were really fantastic, but the ride there was a little questionable. I'm an experienced rider and the terrain was a bit tough --lots of rocks, mud and unstable footing.

"I can't believe the holiday is behind us already.
The house was unbelievable. I couldn't get enough of the view. Everything was comfortable and I can't tell you how much joy it gave me to see Brayden and Ava enjoying that pool! Everything was perfect.
Sandi, thanks again for all your hard work making sure everything went smoothly. The whole family was singing your praises...plus, you were darn fun!
Francisco, Joel, Carlos, Maria, Gregario, all could not have been nicer or more helpful. I will miss waking up to their smiling, gentle faces each morning. They outdid themselves working so hard to make Wende's Birthday such a hit. The "pink" theme really came off, Sandi! Every meal was special. They really made us feel at home.
Please tell the staff how much we appreciated all their help, and thank you once again, Sandi, for everything.
Hopefully, we can stay in touch since you are close by in Calif. We'll have you out to our little ranch when you are in town

"The trip was a fabulous experience for the whole family...
...We would all go back in a heartbeat. Grandkids got to zipline through canapies, come face to face with monkeys, sloths, toucans, macaus, and go sea kayaking. They enjoyed playing in the surf, touring a sepentarium, horseback riding and hiking to a beautiful waterfall, and a boat ride and tour of Corcovado. It was all good!
Thank you for your help with our food, meals, restaurants and the side trips. Robert and Sida did a wonderful job with the meals, Chef's Tabe and Citrus were superb choices, and all the trips were enjoyed by the family." |

"We had an awesome trip. Totally enjoyed every second of it. The villa was outstanding. I knew it would be stunning from all the pictures - remarkably, it was even more spectacular in person. The staff was so sweet and helpful. They took fabulous care of us. We enjoyed meeting Jorge and were especially thankful that his brother and sister in law drove us down from San Jose. Carlos was a blessing everyday. We enjoyed all our scheduled activities as well as the extra services at the house - massage, manicure, pedicure, chef, etc. One of my daughters turned 13 while we were there and the chef threw her a great birthday bash."

"I cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay in Puerto Vallarta. It was as close to perfect as it could have been. As soon as we walked through the door, we could not believe the comfort, beauty and pure pampering we felt. The staff at Capricorne Villa II is the best I personally have ever encountered. It was as if they anticipated our wants and needs before we did. We laughed at a time when one of our guests said, I need more ice in my drink. Without hearing this comment and as if on cue, Sergio came outside and said, Does anyone need extra ice in their drink. If that is not great service, I do not know what is.
Sergio is a true gem. He is kind, considerate and very good at what he does. He was always conscientious of our privacy, but made sure to take care of all of our needs. Concha, oh our lovely Concha! We argued over who could fit her in our suitcase and take her home with us. I am in catering and I am open to many dining experiences, but I have high standards for dining and food. She surpassed all of my expectations. Concha and her team are truly talented and should offer cooking classes to the guests. We were all wanting her recipes, especially her ranchero sauce, divine!
I could go on all day, but suffice to say, we had the trip of a lifetime. All of our guests have committed to using Capricorne Villas for their next vacation and we will definitely be frequent travelers with your amazing service. Thank you for everything!"

"Our visit to Capricorne Villa II in Puerto Vallarta was more than anything I could have anticipated! We travel a great deal and always stay at first class properties (Four Seasons) etc. Also, we have rented homes in various parts of the world, yet we have NEVER experienced anything as wonder as this villa. We have already booked for next year.
The pictures do not reveal the ambiance within the home. Each detail is made to perfection, from the meals to the softest towels! My husband has never had his boxer shorts ironed!! Each day they do laundry as well as meals that are made to order. WE could specify what we wanted Mexican or grilled shrimp dinner, and unbelievable breakfast! Plus drinks served poolside.
In the evening the lighting around the outside pool area was so inviting; and most nights we left the door open just to hear the waves crashing on the rocks. The sunsets were perfect and the staff so helpful."

"My boyfriend and I stayed at Capricorne Villa II for 4 nights in early July and after reading the only other review on this property; I wanted to confirm everything that was written about this luxurious home! And personally, I found the staff of Capricorne Villa II, simply the best. They cared deeply that our stay was comfortable and were completely genuine in their desire to please us including accommodating every request we had related to specific meals, a variety of fresh juices each day (even from fruit we purchased along the road) to being very supportive and helpful as I practiced speaking Spanish during the stay. It is helpful if you speak Spanish, at least a little, but if you don’t, it’s a terrific opportunity to practice and learn.
Another point I’d like to make is that from this property you see views of the ocean, mountains, beautiful Toucans that visit Capricorne Villa II each day and numerous other birds that are magical – you feel a genuine connection to nature and the beauty of the Dominical and Costa Rica. The property is also ideal for large families, multiple small families or a close group who enjoy sharing parts of each day while having large, separate live and sleeping spaces as well. And it’s quite romantic with large showers, jacuzzi tub, outdoor jacuzzi, huge wrap-around balconies, private spa room and extensive outdoor gathering and dining areas.
Finally, the most seasoned traveler who is accustom to 5 Star hotels and/or who lives in a multi-million dollar home will be extremely comfortable at Capricorne Villa II! The villa is an amazing, new custom home with extensive granite and marble throughout, as well as special wood floors, air conditioning, great furniture, architectural/design treatments, interesting and wonderful art work as well as quality large/flat screen TVs and wireless internet to ensure that those who are accustom to, and prefer such things, are completely at ease and comfortable. I want to live there!" |

Can you imagine one huge wall completely made of glass overlooking the sea? I couldn’t take my eyes off of the view. Capricorne Villas thought of everything. | "I wanted to tell you how great our experience was staying in one of the Cabo villas. The Pedregal in Cabo is almost too much for words to describe. We were perched high on a cliff overlooking Lands End with the most spectacular view you can imagine. The service was impeccable. We did not want to leave. We have been to many incredible places around the world, but nothing compares to this villa. From the moment we entered our villa we saw how amazing it was inside, then the outside with the full pool and spa, and the gorgeous 360-degree view of the sea... it was breathtaking. Everyone was so friendly and gracious everywhere we went. We cannot wait to plan another trip." |

“What a perfect weekend we had in Cabo and Paco and the staff at Capricorne Villa II were top notch! I can’t thank you enough for setting everything up for us and my wife especially wanted to thank you as well. We spent quite a bit of time in the pool and hot tub and just hanging out at the house, and had wonderful breakfast and dinner cooked for us by Paco and the staff.
We played golf two days, once at Palmilla (where they cleared the course for an hour in front of us and an hour behind so we wouldn’t be rushed or have to wait) and it was perfect weather even though we teed off at 12:30pm. We also played at Querencia, which is the private course just north of Palmilla, and it was great as well. We got the royal treatment.
We ate at great restaurants as well. Sunset da Mona Lisa at Monuments Beach was cool, the pr lady had contacted me about eating there and it was phenomenal. We also ate at Pitahayas at the Sheraton Hacienda at Cabo Del Sol and as always it was excellent. And of course Nik San is as good as sushi gets so we had it great all the way around.
Once again thank you Marcus, it was a wonderful birthday/anniversary trip. One of our guests is the Exec. VP at SkyWest Airlines and she is discussing their officers corporate officers retreat and they may want to use Capricorne Villa II so when they decide she’ll be calling me and I’ll be calling you.” |
